About Jamie

Jamie Winter is a versatile communications professional with proven success in internal and external communications strategy including public relations, media relations, crisis communications, community relations, and social media, as well as marketing and branding, in both corporate and non-profit settings.

 

Through Winter Public Relations, Jamie has supported a multitude of clients in different industries like the Staenberg-Loup Jewish Community Center, Denver Museum of Nature & Science, Rocky Mountain Communities and Emily Griffith Technical College, to name a few. 

 

Jamie has secured thousands of articles helping clients tell their stories through multiple media channels including coverage on the front page of The Denver Post, in 5280 Magazine, The Denver Business Journal, Successful Farming, 303 Magazine, Westword, Colorado Parent, a variety of hyperlocal community publications, and many others. She has also secured TV segments on several TV stations including KUSA-TV NBCKCNC-TV CBS, KMGH-TV ABCKDVR-TV FOX31and others. 

 

Prior to starting Winter Public Relations, Jamie worked in communications at Red Robin International, where she spearheaded media relations for more than 480 restaurants; led PR strategy for national and local marketing and PR campaigns, and for the company’s re-branding initiative; oversaw the company’s brand reputation through cause-marketing programs and community relations; managed crisis communications; and developed social media and blogger relations strategies.

 

Jamie has worked on media segments at the Today Show, on the Food Network and on TBS. Jamie also worked in communications at Corporate Express (now Staples), and in fundraising and development at Sewall Child Development Center, Inc.

 

Jamie is a graduate of the University of Colorado at Boulder and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology.
